Blue Rinzu Furisode with Peony Motifs

The furisode pattern is hand painted on figured silk, woven in a gently wave pattern. Soft and easy to wear, the rinzu silk reflects the light, complementing the subtle gold accents throughout the body of the furisode. The silk has a polished appearance, which harmonizes with the shimmers of gold, from gold wrapped threads, small sections of embroidery, and gold laid in thin lines around the flowers.

When I saw this kimono the overall design attracted me, with cascading lilies on a cream and blue background, and small, fresh, green accents.
